Thursday, October 28, 2010 1:13:00 PM Small change in plans Surprise, surprise--things didn't go exactly as planned.  We didn't move quite as quickly through the material as I thought we might. Sorry if any of you tried to get your student to do their HW last night and were told that Mrs. D didn't give them the Quiz WS afterall, b/c that was in fact the case. Here's how the week's ending up: 3rd Hour 7th Grade:  Today (Thursday) we finished talking about 5-1 and began our discussion of 5-2.  We will conclude our discussion of 5-2 tomorrow (Friday) and they will be responsible for completing 5-2 Guided Reading as well as 5-1 and 5-2 Quiz WS over the weekend if they don't get them finished in class. 7th Hour 7th Grade:  Today (Thursday) they completed the 5-2 Guided Reading as well as the 5-1 and 5-2 Quizzes in class and had to turn them in by the end of the hour. 4th Hour 8th Grade:  Today (Thursday) we completed our discussion of 5-2, and they were given a little class time to complete 5-2 Guided Reading as well as 5-1 & 5-2 Quizzes--these are due Monday, Nov. 1 and no one got them all finished today in class! 6th Hour 8th Grade:  Today (Thursday) we completed our discussion of 5-2, and they were given some class time to complete 5-2 Guided Reading as well as 5-1 & 5-2 Quizzes--these are due Monday, Nov. 1, but some of the students may have worked diligently enough to have completed them in the allotted class time.
